Legends of Latin America

For these illustrations I selected two legends from Latin America: The Cadejos and El Chico Grande. Using gouache as technique, I painted directly on wooden panels recalling the Ex-Voto tradition from Latinamerica.

These illustrations were exhibited at the Instituto Iberoamericano in Berlin with the support of the Embassy of Costa Rica. In addition they were featured in the costa rican magazine SU CASA (Ana Briceño: Mujer de Milagros y Transformaciones).
